Atsushi Ohkubo hinted in the author's comments in the 23rd volume of the manga "Fire Force" (Enen no Shouboutai) on Friday that the manga was in its final stages. Ohkubo stated, "This story is also in its final stages, and for me, I plan to make it my last manga , so please accompany me to the end." Volume 24 manga is scheduled for release on July 17.
Fire Force is the manga of the author of Soul Eater, Atsushi Ohkubo. This manga was first serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shounen Magazine in September 2015. The manga has also been published in Indonesia by Elex Media. Elex Media has published this manga until volume 14.
This series tells about a world where humans can spontaneously burn. Worse, victims often turn into fire monsters which result in major disasters. In Tokyo, a special unit called the Fire Force that contains people who are able to control fire is assigned to deal with this phenomenon. Shinra is a new member, he is able to use fire to increase his running speed. Shinra wants to fulfill the promise to become a "hero" while working with his team to find out the mystery behind this phenomenon.
