The official website of the anime adaptation of Shinya Komi and HiRock's manga, "EX-ARM" reveals their second visual. This visual was created by Shinya Komi himself. The production committee hasn't revealed the staff list until now. But this anime has been announced to be aired next summer. This anime has entered production planning since August 2019.
The EX-ARM manga tells of a criminal fight centered on high school students, Akira Natsume. Only his brain can be saved after a traffic accident, and then become part of sophisticated weapons 16 years later. Akira worked with the police's EX-ARM countermeasures division to recover his memory and body.
Shinya Komi launched the manga "EX-ARM" with HiRock's story on February 18 2015 in Grand Jump magazine as a remake of EX-VITA manga. This series then moved to the Shounen Jump + website and application in December 2017 and ended on June 26th. Shueisha published the 14th or final volume of her manga on August 19, 2019. The latest manga titled "EX-ARM EXA" was launched at the end of August 2019 in Grand Jump Mucha magazine.
Atarou Kumo wrote an adaptation of the novel titled "EX-ARM the Novel Deus Ex Machina" and debuted December 2018. A spinoff manga titled "EX-ARM ANOTHER CODE" was launched by Shinya Komi and Atarou Kumo in February 2020 in Ultra Jump magazine.
